Meet raspBLErry, the World’s first Raspberry-pi BLE shield.
At just 1.8″ x 1.8″ this module is packed full of features.
- BLE113 module with associated components
- 1.27mm programming header for the CC Debugger
- LEDs on the high current drivers
- Optional handshake setup using solder jumpers
- Communicate with your raspberry-pi with either UART or SPI, simply close the solder jumpers of your choice! (Note: you can only use one or the other at the same time)
- OTA firmware update ready. Our board has the hardware as laid out is Bluegiga’s APP note for over the air firmware updates! See here for more info. To enable the OTA hardware, simply close the OTA_ENA solder jumper.
All pins of the BLE113 are broken out to two headers (breadboard friendly spacing) so you can use them to make other connections.
I have no firmware or instructions for this setup, it is recommended for experienced users looking to integrate BLE with their Raspberry-pi. Hopefully once it is released into the wild I will be able to gather source code to share with you.
